For the Love of StarLifter

StarLifter is surrounded by quite the buzz these days. In the marketplace for less than a year, those that have one have had a chance to put it through it's paces. Check out the response:

I’ve done several sessions on it and the studios loved it too. I was originally looking to buy a noble or a reddi as a lot of studios that I do sessions at use both of those as the “house DI/preamps”. I have to say that I prefer the Starlifter. It just sounds so good.  Amazing how something so small can affect sound so much! I love it so much that I got two.

—Kevin Freeby

Absolutely fantastic DI/Pre

—Dan Lutz

Yep...dig what I get from it with both my P-Bass and my Xotic XB2.

—Mark Knell

I’ve had 2 REDDI’s, a Sans Amp, a Tone Hammer, Darkglass AOU, Radial JDI and several others. The Starlifter is without a doubt, the best Pre/DI I’ve owned!

—Kevin Shull

I don’t leave home without my Starlifter Pedal! Thanks Carey Nordstrand for this incredible piece of gear.

—Courtney Leonard

My StarLifter has been out on with me on every gig and every recording session I've done since I got it, It became integral immediately and will remain that way.

—Andy Irvine

it’s perma wired into my interface... I don’t plug in at home without it!

—Stacy Starkweather

I’ve compared the Starlifter to a lot of the big pedals out there like Mesa Subway Plus, Olympic SLO Tube, REddi, RNDI, Trickfish Minnow, Khan Tube DI, Noble, and many more. Nothing sounds as good as IMO as the Starlifter. Best bass gear purchase I’ve ever made.

—Shane Campbell

Best-sounding floor-based preamp out there, and one of the best period. Sweet and musical EQ. Thoughtful features. Bulletproof build!

—Jonathan Herrera
