New Music for your Earholes

New album release! NARRABEEN by Hershel Yatovitz.

Inspired by his second home at Australia’s Narrabeen Beach, Hershel has created a guitar-centric, instrumental journey that transcends pure surf rock and takes us off the beaten track into cinematic, latin-flavored cruises, 60’s dance romps and 50’s tiki lounge exotica and bachelor pad flavors. Hershel uses many of our pickups, but Shush Puppies might be his favorite!

"I have been doing some recording with a new trio. I'm using my Ristola 6 string with LaBella Low Tension Flats, a BigRig neck pickup in series, a Big Split in single coil mode, and some slight bass boost from my 2B+ preamp. I'm just going direct. I'm now after many years of playing getting the sound that I've always dreamed of getting with an electric bass. It's something very special to hear a recording back and to be completely satisfied with your own sound. You all have a part in that.

Nordstrand For Everyone

We are in NAMM 2020 prep mode including setting appointments with our Tone Concierge, Graham Drew. Not only is Graham responsible for sharing info about all of our Nordstrand gear, but he is also a  working musician who understands the product well, both bass and guitar. He will be meeting with builders as well as dealers at NAMM and will be taking order for everything from our pickups to the new Acinonyx bass.
